do some basic research- you are not describing communism, you are describing socialism- many very good examples- Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark....communism is when everything is state owned and operated- not efficient and no motivation for the worker. Socialism has private enterprize, individual profits and wealth; they just see a bigger need for regulation and provide more services to their citizens. We should do the same. If your response is "if you don't like it you can leave"- then that is one of the most un-American attitudes out there- the beauty of our country is we all get to have our own opinions. If you don't like it, vote- if you lose, then be a member of the "loyal opposition" so the other side knows how many people they do or do not represent. If none of this works, then run for office. This is a Democratic Republic- no one ever gets their way completely. Politics is the art of compromise. If the GOP would say something besides no,no,no.....
